Puppy Care for your New Puppy
So you picked out your new Bundle of Fur, congratulations! Now you must care for your New Toy Poodle Puppy!
PLEASE FOLLOW PUPPY CARE BELOW
When Puppies leave for their new home they will be eating: Purina Puppy Chow Dry Chicken complete Food and Canned Purina One classic ground for under 1 year (canned food about 2 -3 teaspoons on a separate plate mashed up morning and night) and NuVet Supplement daily order below the NuVet) Very Important because it supports the immune system thru out your puppies lifetime.
I also recommend TOY puppies be given Gerber Chicken baby food mixed with waffle syrup 2-3 times daily for at least one week each feeding 2-3 teaspoons of the mix to help prevent Hypoglycemia! Hypoglycemia can be fatal, and is 100% preventable - toy puppies do not eat alot at one time, so must be fed several times a day!
DO NOT: Abrubtly change to a different food. You may gradually change to a new food a month after you receive your puppy by mixing in the food you want to transfer to.
DO NOT: Take your new puppy to meet your friends, they are already stressed by leaving their home and learning a new environment. Your puppy has had 1 set of vaccines and IS NOT protected completely from virus, discuss with your veterinarian on the required Wellness exam 48 hours after pick up.
REMEMBER: To Activate the Health Guarantee a Vet Exam is required 48 hours from pick up and must include a fecal or guarantee is Void. The vet Exam must be Emailed to me same day Exam done!!
Do Not: put your puppy down on the ground in public areas where other dogs or wildlife roam until puppy has had all 3 Vaccinations.
REMEMBER: Puppies will be started on Pee Pads, (but they will not be 100% trained) Remember they are babies and will have accidents!
PUPPIES NEEDS:
1. Above listed Food and Nuvet Vitamins before your puppy is scheduled to be picked up have them in your home
2.Crate for crate training and bringing your new puppy home

4. Pee Pads disposable or cloth ones that are washable
